Pure Vintage ‘65 Pickups take the Jazzmaster back to its roots, producing that iconoclastic clean-and-clear vintage-style tone, edgy snarl and undeniable texture. These pickups retail for £169 on their own as a set. From vintage bobbin construction to genuine original-era cloth wiring, they have been wound to precise specifications for authentic, traditional Fender tone and performance.
The pickups are controlled via a 4-way parallel/series switch, letting you easily change the pickup wiring from series to parallel for increased output and fatter tone. This switch is used on many Custom Shop instruments, further setting this Limited Edition model apart. One for the afficionados!
