Description :
The Fender CF-60 is an affordable acoustic folk guitar from the Classic Design series, based on the popular best seller CD-60 range by Fender. The CF-60 has a spruce top with nato sides and back. The CF-60 has a triple O (or 000 or auditorium) type body that has the same size as a traditional dreadnought but with a narrower waist and shallower body giving it a neater, fiercer tone that is ideal for fingerpickers and much loved by blues guitarists.
Features of the Fender CF-60A
The combination of spruce and nato gives the CF-60 a full sound with a clear punch. Both the body as the mahogany neck have a gloss finish for a chic look. The neck has a comfortable profile and a 20-fret fingerboard with elegant three-millimetre position markers and a black binding. The body also has a black binding and a mother-of-pearl rosette as icing on the cake. The black-dotted white bridge pins give the guitar a traditional look.
Graphtech saddles and extra strap pin
Contrary to other guitars in this price range, the Fender CF-60 has a Graphtech string nut and bridge saddle made of NuBone, an artificial bone that has a better sound than plastic providing sparkling high notes and neat open basses. On top of that, the NuBone has self-lubricating properties that better retain the guitar's tuning. To facilitate playing whilst standing, Fender fitted the CF-60 with a second strap button on the side of the guitar near the neck.
