Description :
The Donner Morpher is a highly popular, budget-friendly mini high-gain distortion pedal designed to replicate iconic 1980s metal and hard rock tones. Widely regarded as a clone of the premium Suhr Riot pedal, it features a rugged, ultra-compact aluminium-alloy chassis and utilizes a true bypass design to preserve your guitar's original signal clarity when switched off.
Core Controls & Voicings
The pedal utilizes a simple three-knob layout accompanied by a crucial 3-way toggle switch: [1]
- Controls: Gain (sets distortion level), Tone (adjusts brightness), and Level (manages output volume).
- Natural Mode: Offers a thick, organic grit reminiscent of a cranked tube amplifier.
- Tight Mode: Tightens up the low frequencies, adding compression for modern rock riffing and fast rhythm playing.
- Classic Mode: Provides a warm, mid-focused, classic UK-style high-gain crunch tailored for hair metal solos and lead lines.
